The 2026 SDG International Innovation Conference—Hangzhou Station has successfully concluded.From August 22 to 24, the 2026 SDG Youth Innovation Contest was successfully held in Hangzhou, China. As one of China's premier SDG-themed youth events, it attracted secondary-school participants worldwide. They worked together to tackle real-world challenges based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Experts in education and business from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, India, Kenya, South Korea, South Africa, and other regions served as coaches and judges.
They supported participants through keynote speeches, one-on-one mentoring, and constructive feedback.The competition was conducted entirely in English. Students formed international teams to research, design, and prototype their innovative solutions at pace. Over the three-day programme, teams completed field research, developed presentation slides and posters, transformed their SDG-focused concepts into actionable projects, and delivered presentations in English.
